Could this be a great alternative for indivduals or couples?

That doesn't sound too bad. . . it's like getting to see kids once in a while, but they usually go home to another house when they get cranky and it's usually not your responsibility to watch/discipline them. I might go for that. The problem for some of us is that we are only children, which means no nieces/nephews unless we marry someone who actually has siblings to have their own kids.
