Should life scientists organize themselves based on the way species are scientifically clified?

I'm sorry, but this is about as clear as mud! Most organizations, academic, govermental, or commercial, have a hierarchy of organization. What characteristics did you have in mind. (The GEICO commercial comes to mind here for some reason . . . are you talking about 'cave men'?
