Cat pregnancy advise please?

my cat is still pregnant yesterday she had like a jelly bubble hanging out of her virgina when iv gone to check on her this morning it has gone does this now mean that she is in active labour i was told that the jelly thing was like a plug once that goes it all starts is this true and how long does labour last
