I'm having problems surfing and checking my mail. Sometimes I don't connect.?

I don't know if it is within Yahoo only or in general. Sometimes my connection says done but nothing on the screen even when I refresh. I've done the defragmentation, deletion processes with my temp files, cookies and history. No viruses etc... HELP!!! Anyone else having problems with Yahoo? I'm not sure if this came through before, but now that I'm running Yahoo through Internet Explorer, I'm getting through a lot faster. Any Ideas???
